Yachting Australia - Competent Crew Certificate

Prerequisites: Introduction to Sailing Certificate or Similar Experience

3 Days $1000.00 per person (inc GST)

The course is conducted on one of our Sail training Vessels. You will partake in preparing the vessel for departure. A fully hands on course, covering boating knowledge, safety gear, radio, avoiding collisions, navigation, weather, engines, boat handling, emergencies, rope work & coastal waters. You will be introduced to safety procedures such as man overboard, sail trimming & reefing, anchoring & mooring procedures & appreciation of weather & the effects on the sea. Trip planing & further navigation will also be focused on.
